This fourth episode of Victory Laps features host Dylan Langille visiting with New Glasgow’s Bob “Bobby” Allen, one of the winningest drivers at Riverside between 1969 and 1977. He challenged and often beat the best racers from this region, and beyond. While he won many trophies at Riverside his most memorable are those from a win in the first-ever extended length race in the region, the International 100 in 1969, and his points championship. Mr. Allen shares memories from his days at Riverside as well as little-known historical tidbits. Also on the show is 50-year RIS fan, Ernie Lively in our new fan segment sharing his memories of milestone events in our history.
