Management at Riverside International Speedway and the Maritime League of Legends would like to welcome Celtic Air Services as the sponsor of Friday’s 50-lap Maritimes Legends Challenge. The Celtic Air Service Maritime Legends Challenge is the highest exposure event on the series 10-race schedule and features teams from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.

Also on the card for Friday night is the Henry’s AUTOPRO 150 for the Napa Sportsman Series and a special appearance autograph session with Kenny Wallace, the celebrity driver of the Cat Car for Kids in Saturday’s IWK 250 presented by Steve Lewis. Wallace, one of NASCAR’s top personalities and a member of the FOX Sports Racing NASCAR broadcast team, will be at the track Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Racing starts at 7 p.m. The grandstand box office opens at 4 p.m.

Advance tickets are available to be ordered online until Thursday at 1 p.m. Fans should note that reserved seats for Saturday are only available in advance and that weekend passes are in limited supply. Those with advance tickets will save $ (vs purchasing at the gate) and have exclusive access to the fast lane advance ticket holder entry gate.

The IWK 250 Super Race Weekend gets underway Wednesday at 5 p.m. with an open practice session for Legends Cars and Sportsman in advance of the Celtic Air Services Maritime Legends Challenge and the Henry’s AUTOPRO 150. On Thursday, it’s the IWK 250 Test Fest at 4:30 p.m. and a Tailgate Party featuring Signal Hill at 9:30 p.m.

Saturday’s super late model/pro stock racing action starts at 3:30 p.m. with the Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races followed by the B Feature, a pre-race autograph session and concert, the opening ceremony, and the IWK 250 presented by Steve Lewis, a Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour championship points event. The grandstand box office opens at Noon Saturday.
