Management for Riverside International Speedway and the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour are thrilled to announce the Pro Stock Tour will race at Riverside on June 29 as part of the inaugural Canada Day Weekend Super Show. The super late model series joins the NASCAR Canada Series doubleheader for the marquee event – an exceptional opportunity to see two of Canada’s top touring series as part of the same show.

“We’re very excited to partner with the ECI Pro Stock Tour for this event and to provide a unique stage to showcase the series and its teams,” said Joan Roué, manager of Riverside International Speedway. “For the fans – and we’re fans, too – what an exciting show to have on the calendar in this region!”

“The ECI Pro Stock Tour is honoured with the opportunity to participate in this Canada Day Weekend Super Show,” said Dan MacLeod, manager of the ECI Pro Stock Tour. “Riverside International Speedway is the ideal venue to showcase the talent of the two premier touring series, one national and one regional. This is one event not to miss!”

The Canada Day Weekend Super Show at Riverside was announced in November in conjunction with the return of NASCAR to the iconic 1/3-mile high-banked asphalt oval when the NASCAR Canada Series will hold its only doubleheader of 2024 with back-to-back championship points races on June 29 and 30. The addition of the ECI Pro Stock Tour on June 29 will rank this weekend as one of the most anticipated stock car events in Canada.

Having this on the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour schedule, alongside the NASCAR Canada Series, puts it on a podium unrivaled in the region and will benefit fans, competitors, and sponsors; the complete 2024 series schedule will be announced this week.

More exciting announcements for the Canada Day Weekend Super Show including Friday activities and a second racing division for Sunday are expected in the coming weeks – all geared to building an event that makes the facility and the region a destination for 2024 and for years to come. Located on 100 acres of property adjacent to the Trans Canada Highway 104 in James River (17km east of Antigonish), Riverside is the largest permanent outdoor entertainment complex east of Quebec. With seating for 8,000+ and campsites for 800+, the hamlet of James River could easily exceed the population of Antigonish during the event creating a positive economic impact for the region with direct and indirect financial spinoffs.

Tickets and camping reservations will be available in the New Year. Fans can join the pre-sale waitlist for tickets and camping for the Canada Day Weekend Super Show by visiting www.riversidespeedway.ca. If completed by December 24, they’ll have a chance to WIN a family pass for the weekend.

Fans should stay tuned to Riverside’s website (www.riversidespeedway.ca), social media (Facebook, X, and Instagram), and sign up for the electronic newsletter (www.riversidespeedway.ca/media/newsletter) for further announcements regarding the 2024 season.
