As part of our 50th-anniversary celebrations, we’re excited to debut ‘Victory Laps’ our new podcast series hosted by Dylan Langille who will visit with personalities that have helped build our foundation over the past five decades. This first episode features the dean of race track announcers, Jerry ‘Jer Bear’ Lawrence, hand-picked by John Chisholm to be the voice in the booth starting in 1969 and then again after its rebuild in 2006. Along with Ron King, Jer Bear also co-promoted the very first ‘250’ at Riverside in 1977. In this podcast, Jer Bear shares some of those stories with Dylan, and us.
