Due to the extreme dry conditions, enhanced camping restrictions are in place for the Summer Sizzler event…These restrictions are in addition to our camping Terms of Use, are in effect August 14/25 until further notice, and are subject to change without advance notice.
Camping opens at Noon Thursday (August 14) in advance of Saturday’s Summer Sizzler. It’s free, unreserved, and not serviced. Restrictions in place to comply with provincial guidelines and in consultation with DNR regarding local conditions, include:
- Campers must park off the center road in Section A (not close to the tree line)
- No open flames including propane firepits
- If using a propane BBQ or any other enclosed flame device please keep a fully charged fire extinguisher close by
- If you’re a smoker, please extinguish the butts in a bottle of water
We’re fortunate to be able to host campers this weekend in consideration of the extreme dryness in the region – your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
