Management of Riverside International Speedway are pleased to welcome Lucas Oil back to the Riverside family as title sponsor for the Lucas Oil 150 on September 9.

Lucas Oil joined the Riverside fraternity in 2011 and has been sponsoring the fall Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour event in James River ever since. In the six years under the Lucas Oil banner, the event has seen five different winners, three from Nova Scotia (George Koszkulics, John Flemming and two-time and defending winner Donald Chisholm) and two from New Brunswick (the late Mike Stevens and Shawn Tucker.)

The Lucas Oil 150 is the third stop of 2017 at Riverside for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour; the first is June 17 for a 150-lap feature and the second is the IWK 250 Presented by Steve Lewis Auto Body on July 15. Besides these three events, Riverside International Speedway will host the NAPA Sportsman Series on August 18 and the NASCAR Pinty’s Series for a 300-lap race on August 19.

The Lucas Oil 150 is the season finale for Riverside and round 11 of 12 on the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour, often playing a pivotal role in the series final standings. The Napa Sportsman Series will provide support class action on September 9 with the 100-lap feature race which will be the series championship race.

Advance tickets for the Riverside season opener on June 17 will be available three weeks prior to the event.

Riverside International Speedway is recognized as a premier stock racing facility in Canada. The 1/3-mile high banked asphalt oval roars to action several times a year for special events. It is the home for eastern Canada’s only NASCAR event, and of the IWK 250 – widely known as the best stock car race in Canada. Located in James River, between New Glasgow and Antigonish, the facility is easily accessible at exit 30 on Trans Canada Highway 104. For more information call 902.863.2410 or click
